Daddy's Home

My heart goes out to so many who are struggling at this time.  I remember cutting costs by giving my daughter Deborah piano lessons.  This was not a difficulty since Deb took to the piano like a duck to water.  Today she is an accomplished musician.  I was in the process of giving her a lesson, when we heard a thud and felt the house shake.   We looked at each other in disbelief when I said,"Daddy's Home".  He thought the van was in park, but soon realized his error as the van gained speed towards the side of the garage.  His instinct was to run in front of  it, but soon realized that wasn't going to work.  Fortunately, a newly planted evergreen slowed it down while it clipped the side of the garage with a two foot gash in the wall.   Being resourceful and in need of funds, Larry turned his mistake into a lovely planter.   It reminded me of elementary school when the teacher would tell the students to make flowers out of their mistakes.  There are many van stories to come.
